Bristol, Tenn. – The King University Men's and Women's Tennis hosted North Greenville this afternoon in an afternoon match-up. King would fall in both the matches, not without putting up a fight in the Men's, they fell 4-3, and the Women's fell 7-0.

The King University Men's Tennis team took on NGU with a strong doubles, but would fall due to some close matches that slipped through their fingers. The men fell to NGU 4-3 with the winning point in the doubles.

Bar Meshel would both earn wins in doubles with scores of 6-4 and 6-3, respectively.

Heading into singles with the lead 1-0, King was looking to finish it here to earn another win on the season. Neleman went the Tornado, going with a strong win in straight sets with a 6-2 and 6-4 win.

The Tornado would lose the next four matches, falling in each match. Meshel,
Rohan Chalisgaonkar, and
Beckham Sylvester all would fall in close matches.

Machado would win the final match, however, on the court with a win in three sets. He fell early, losing 6-2, then came back winning 6-4 in the second, which pushed him to get the close win 7-5.

The King University Women's Tennis team put up a strong fight in between the points with long sets and points through the afternoon, however, fell in a sweep, losing 7-0. They were able to score a few points through the matches, with a close doubles match in the number one doubles, with a final score of 6-4.

Shelby Tranchita had the closest match of the afternoon for the Tornado, with a match going to three sets. She would fall in the first set 6-4 but would come back in the second one after falling 6-4. She would fight hard in the first few points, but would ultimately fall 10-4 in the final set.
