Bristol, Tenn. – The King University team took on Johnson C. Smith University, winning 3-0 in a clean sweep. After winning their first match of the season, the team was looking strong going into their second. They only let up one win in both Search and Destroy and Overload.
Winning map one Hardpoint 250-105 with a total team K/D of 1.62 to secure the first map win.
Kirk Rahill led the team in the first map with a team-leading K/D of 2.00, with
Chase Proffitt assisting with a 1.78 K/D ratio.
The second map, Search and Destroy the Tornado, only gave up on point the whole match, having an incredible team K/D ratio of 2.81, winning 6-1. Proffitt led the team in map two with a K/D of 4.33 and 13 eliminations, with his teammate
Moricio Castro having a 4.5 K/D ratio and 9 eliminations.
The final map was on overload, where King won in dominant fashion, 8-0. The team was able to have a K/D ratio of 1.84, totaling 81 eliminations by the whole team.
The whole team averaged a 2.04 K/D ratio.
