Bristol, Tenn.- King University is gearing up for an action-packed 2026 Acrobatics & Tumbling season, and anticipation is already building across campus. With a clean slate and a 0ā0 record heading into February, the Tornado are preparing to showcase their strength, precision, and teamwork against a competitive slate of regional opponents.
The season opens on
Friday, February 13, with a road test at
Belmont Abbey, a matchup that will immediately challenge King's early-season form. That same evening, the Tornado return home to host
Emmanuel College (Ga.) at 6:00 PM, giving fans their first chance to see the team in action on their home mat.
King continues its home stretch on
February 21, welcoming
Newberry College for a Saturday afternoon meet. The team then hits the road again on
February 26 to face
Francis Marion University, another key regional opponent that will help set the tone for the remainder of the season.
March brings a mix of travel and home-court energy. The Tornado visit
Wingate University on
March 13, followed by a return to Bristol for a trio of home meets:
Mars Hill University on March 18,
Montevallo on March 23, and a chance to build momentum heading into April.
The regular season concludes on
April 2 with a road matchup at
Coker University, giving King one final opportunity to sharpen its routines before postseason considerations begin.
