BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University softball team fell to Lee University in both games of a doubleheader.

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME ONE
- Lee University scored two runs in the top of the second before adding three more in the top of the third.
- In the top of the fifth inning, the Flames scored two runs on a single to left center field to take a 7-0 lead.
- King scored their only run in the bottom of the fifth inning. Autumn Campbell drew a walk and then stole second base to get into scoring position. Giana Winge's single up the middle allowed Campbell to score.
- The Flames added two more runs on two hits in the top of the sixth and with King unable to score in the bottom of the inning, the game was over.

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME TWO
- Lee got on the board in the first inning as they had their lead off hitter score during the third batter on a passed ball.
- King matched the score as Katie Ryan was able to score from first base on Tori Ryan's double to center field.
- The Flames scored two on a single to right center field as the bases were loaded.
- Helina Hahn scored in the bottom of the fourth to bring King within one as a pinch runner.
- Lee expanded their lead in the seventh inning to 5-2.
