FROSTBURG, Md. – Three members of the King University women's wrestling team won titles Saturday at the Bobcat Open, hosted by Frostburg State.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- #5 Avery Kibelbek won the title at 103 pounds, winning all four of her matches. After starting the day with a 46-second pin, she won two straight tech falls, including a 11-0 win over Tiffany Stoshak of Sacred Heart and a 10-0 win over Charvi Bethu of Frostburg State. In the finals, she won a 13-2 tech fall over Summer Mutschler.
- #3 Clare Booe went undefeated at 117 pounds, with all of her wins coming via pin. After winning three straight first period pins to advance to the finals, she won in 4:37 over teammate #6 Melanie Mendoza to claim the title.
- Mendoza went 3-1 on the day, with the loss to Booe being her lone defeat of the day. She started with a 1:02 pin of Aurora Walters of Frostburg State before pinning Madeline Li of New England College in 0:55. She won her semifinal match in 53 seconds to advance to the finals against Booe.
- #2 Montana DeLawder was the champion at 124 pounds, with three wins by pin, including her first two matches of the day. After winning 5-2 in the semifinals, she pinned Angela LoRusso of the Bulldog Wrestling Club in 0:40 to take the championship.
- #8 Anna DiCugno took second at 131 pounds, winning her first two matches via pin before a 10-0 win in the quarterfinals. In the semifinals, she pinned Solana Mottola of Frostburg State, advancing to the finals where she lost via pin.
