Inman, S.C. – The King University Women's Golf team wrapped up play at the Converse Fall Invite, hosted by Converse University at Woodfin Ridge Golf Club. After heavy rain suspended play on Monday, the Tornado returned to the course on Tuesday focused and determined to complete the fall portion of their season.
TEAM RESULTS:
Due to weather conditions limiting the tournament to one round, the Tornado posted a team score of 339 (+51) on the par-72 layout, placing 11
th out of 17 competitive teams from across the region.
INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS:
FOR THE FOES:
- Belmont Abbey (A Team) captured the team title with a score of 309 (+21).
- Terra Schmitt of Barton College earned medalist honors after carding an even-par 72 (E).
