Sodre named third team All-Conference

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Alex Sodre of the King University men's tennis team was voted Third Team All-Conference Carolinas, the first all-conference selection of his career.

Sodre, a senior from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, went 12-5 in singles play and 6-11 in doubles action on the season. He closed the season winning his final seven singles matches, including wins at #23 Mount Olive and #40 Francis Marion. He had a 4-3 record in doubles play when teaming with Isaac Yang, including a win at no. 1 doubles March 14 against Illinois-Springfield, where they won 6-1.
