BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's tennis team nearly picked up a Conference Carolinas win in their home finale Tuesday, but narrowly fell 4-3 to North Greenville University on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Alex Sodre and Isaac Yang won 6-0 at no. 2 doubles, but the Crusaders won the other two matches to claim the point.
- After North Greenville won the first two singles matches, Sodre picked up a three-set win at no. 3 singles, winning 7-6 (6-4), 0-6, 6-0 over Gabriel Pegoraro.
- At no. 3 singles, Yang dropped the first set, but bounced back to win the final two sets, taking a 1-6, 6-2, 6-3 win.
- Mat Vieira also had a win, beating Juan Jose Arbelaez 6-1, 6-3 at no. 5 singles, though North Greenville would win at no. 6 singles to claim the dual.
