BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's tennis team opened their spring season on Sunday against a solid Lee University team. The Flames took the doubles point and the match 7-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- At No. 1 doubles, Deniz Aytun and Mishka Koricinova fell to Maria Duarte and Ashleigh Simes 6-3.
- The Flames won the No. 2 doubles match 6-0 and took the third flight by default.
- In singles play, Aytun fell to Simes 6-1, 6-2 at the top flight while Koricinova fell to Maria Aguilo 6-2, 6-0 at the second flight.
- Mireia Mas Ortega fell to Duarte 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles, and Lilly Belcher dropped her No. 4 singles match to Kanna Kobayakawa 6-0, 6-0.
- Lee won the final two singles matches by default to take the dual 7-0.
