BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's tennis team fell to the University of Pikeville on Sunday as the Tornado played with only three players. The Bears won the dual 7-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Pikeville won the doubles point, taking two of the matches by forfeit.
- At the top flight, Deniz Aytun and Mishka Koricinova fell 6-2.
- In singles play, Atyn and Korcinova both fell in three sets.
- Aytun won the first set from Lilia Jerry 6-3 before dropping the next two 6-0, 10-6 at the top flight.
- At No. 2 singles, Koricinova dropped the first set 6-3 to Yasamine Barrios before winning the second set 6-4. Howver, Barrios won the final set 10-4.
- The Bears won the final four matches to take the dual 7-0.

- King travels to NCAA Division I foe North Carolina A&T on Thursday. The dual is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
- Pikeville travels to Huntingdon University on Friday.
