SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The King University women's volleyball team fell in four sets on the road against Converse University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Set
- King scored first and kept it close with the first couple of points however six points in a row gave Converse the lead.
- The Valkyries would hold the lead for the remainder of the first set.
- Bailey Fersner had a set-high 4 kills and Kylie love had a set-high nine assists.
Second Set
- The Tornado once against scored first in the second set. While Converse had as much as a seven-point lead, King came back to tie the match at 17.
- King sealed the second set victory when Converse had an attack error.
- Gracia Love had seven kills in the close win, Fersner also had the only ace of the set. Kylie Love reached double-digits for assists in the set.
Third Set
- King trailed all of the third set, but never let Converse get more than five points ahead.
- Gracia Love once again led the Tornado offense with 5 kills.
- Faith Morse had 7 digs and a service ace.
Fourth Set
- The Tornado kept the fourth set close, but Converse led a majority of the way as they won the match with a fourth set victory of 25-19.
- Gracia Love had 8 kills.

FOR THE FOES
- Megan Carpenter had 16 kills and Noemia Chiacchio had 10 kills.
- Ariel Bryant had 27 digs while Mackenzie Day had 26.
- Converse had 5 aces from Chiacchio (2), Bryant (2), and Day (1).
- As a team, the Valkyries had 10 total blocks with Alayah Robertson leading the way with 5.0.
