Ricky Sexton and
Kirk Rahill both scored Saturday afternoon as the King University men's soccer team played rival Lees-McRae to a 2-2 draw at Parks Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tornado had the first offensive chances early, with Renan Caruso taking two shots in the first four minutes, and the Tornado earning three corner kicks.
- Despite the early offensive attack, it was the Bobcats who struck first, scoring in the 34th minute after a corner kick of their own, taking a 1-0 lead.
- Pedro Herrera and Joseph Elliott both had shots in the final 10 minutes, but the teams entered the halftime intermission with Lees-McRae leading 1-0.
- It took inside of three minutes for the Tornado to score in the second half, as Ricky Sexton took a pass from Leonardo Mercondes and found the back of the net, evening the score at one.
- The Bobcats responded a couple minutes later, taking a 2-1 lead.
- In the 87th minute, it looked like the Bobcats might escape with a win, however off a King corner kick, Rahill found the back of the net, with Caruso getting the assist to tie the score at two.
- Lees-McRae got one shot in the closing minutes, but it sailed left, and the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- For Sexton, it was his third goal of the season, while Rahill scored his first goal this season.
- Gauthier Lumale finished with one save, which was the only save on the match for either team.
- The Tornado finished with nine corner kicks, compared to just three for the Bobcats.
FOR THE FOES
- Gray Smith scored the first goal for the Bobcats, his second of the season while Jonas Bartelt scored his fourth of the season in the 50th minute.
