King men's wrestling schedule released

BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University men's wrestling head coach Blaze Shade has announced the 2023-24 schedule for the Tornado. King opens the season on November 4 at the Glenville State Invitational before the NCAA Super Region II and National Championships in March.

The Tornado open at the Glenville State University Invitational on November 4 before their home-opener on November 8 against Conference Carolinas foe Belmont Abbey College. Later in November, King will host Newberry College on the 17th and the King Open the following day, November 18. The first semester wraps up on December 16-17 at the Midwest Classic hosted at the University of Indianapolis.

The January slate starts at Bluefield State University before the Virginia Duals on January 12-13 and a league dual at Emmanuel University on January 18 before the Tornado close the regular season at home. King will face four straight home duals the close the regular season before the inaugural Conference Carolinas Men's Wrestling Championship on February 17-18.

The NCAA Super Region II Championships are slated for March 2 at Lander University in Greenwood, S.C. before the NCAA Wrestling Championships on March 15-16 in Park City, Kan.
