HOW IT HAPPENED
- King picked up a win at no. 2 doubles, with Sodre and Vieira getting a 6-1 win, though Belmont Abbey would win 6-0 at the top doubles flight before winning no. 3 doubles by default to take the point.
- In singles action, Sodre forced the first set at no. 1 singles into a tiebreak before falling 7-6 (7-1), 6-3.
- At the second singles flight, Rhys Halcrow fell 6-4, 6-2 to Chase Matin.
- Andre Schiabel won the second set at no. 3 singles, but eventually dropped the match 7-6 (7-0), 4-6, 10-0.
- Belmont Abbey would win 6-3, 6-0 at no. 4 singles before taking the final two flights by default.
