Stubbs named TSWA Player of the Week

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Taylor Stubbs of the King University women's soccer team has been named the Tennessee Sports Writers Association (TSWA) women's soccer Player of the Week. This is the first time in her career that she has earned TSWA weekly honors.

On the season, Stubbs ranks fourth in Conference Carolinas, averaging 0.90 goals per match. She has now scored goals in two of the last three King matches.

The Tornado will be back in action Saturday morning when they host Chowan University. Kickoff from Parks Field is scheduled for 11 a.m.
