BRISTOL, Tenn. –
Taylor Stubbs of the King University women's soccer team has been named the Conference Carolinas women's soccer Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
Stubbs, a senior from Murrieta, Calif., scored four goals last week in a 6-3 win over Lees-McRae College, which tied her for the most goals in a match in the NCAA Division II era. She also had an assist, giving her nine points, breaking the school record for points in a match. It was also her second multi-goal match of the season.
The Tornado will host Belmont Abbey College this afternoon at Parks Field, with kickoff scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
