BRISTOL, Tenn. – Conference Carolinas announced their winter academic all-conference teams presented by Barnes & Noble College, and King University had 27 student-athletes recognized.
The men's swimming team and three honorees while the women at six. On the men's side,
Dale Bruce,
Jan Kuljak and
Haakon Meyer earned the distinction while
Alexia Autrey,
Josie Gunn,
Gwen Haag,
Michelle Morlock,
Brooke Williams and
Jayne Wolbert were recognized.
On the hardwood, the Tornado men's basketball team had four honorees and the women ad five. For the men,
Blake Atwood,
Connor Jordan,
Michael Mays and
Tyler Murray were recognized. On the women's side it was
Jada Campbell,
Lexi Campos,
Ryleigh Fritz,
Trinity Lee and
Kiki Samsel were honored.
The men's track & field team had had five honorees while the women had four. On the men's side it was
Jake Allison,
Josh Booher,
Kolin Miller,
Jesus Pacheco and
Mason Thomas that were honored while
Meg Davis,
Grayson Howe,
Samantha Jerrell and
Katy Neubert earned the honors for the women.
The Conference Carolinas Academic All-Conference teams consist of junior and senior student-athletes in the conference who have competed in a conference-sponsored sport and maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale in all work completed at their member institution.
The GPA is calculated based on the cumulative averages of the student-athletes through the previous semester and each student-athlete must have attended their member institution for at least one academic year.
