BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's soccer team closed their regular season on Sunday at Parks Field. The Tornado fell to Barton College 4-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Barton had the game's first scoring chance in the 14th minute with a shot that was saved by Lucy Barrientos.
- The Bulldogs broke through late in the first half as Evie Kenna found the back of the net in the 37th minute to give Barton the 1-0 lead.
- Kenna struck again early in the second half as she gave the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead in the 47th minute.
- 13 minutes later, Hailey Russell found the back of the net for Barton to extend the lead.
- Presley Bacon took the first shot of the day for the Tornado, coming in the 69th minute, but it was wide of the net.
- In the 73rd minute, Anya Gross found the back of the net for King, cutting the Tornado deficit to 3-1.
- However, Barton's Jessica Hoyt tallied another goal in the 78th minute as the Bulldogs took the contest 4-1.
