BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Tornado were unable to pull an upset Saturday afternoon, as they fell to UNC Pembroke 5-0 at Parks Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UNC Pembroke started the match on the attack, as in the first 10 minutes they had two shots, with one being a shot on goal that was saved by Erin Foster.
- The Braves got on the board in the 20th minute off a King own goal.
- The Tornado got their first shot in the 25th minute, when Anya Gross took a shot that was saved by Braves keeper Chiara Coppin.
- UNC Pembroke scored their second goal in the 39th minute off a penalty kick that resulted from a King handball in the penalty box.
- The Braves piled on in the second half, scoring three times, with Anna Grossheim scoring a pair of goals nine minutes apart and Alexis Pittman adding a goal in the 72nd minute.

- Foster made six saves in the match, with three coming in the first half.
- Gross had the lone shot for the Tornado.
FOR THE FOES
- Grossheim ended up scoring twice on the day, giving her eight goals on the season.
- Choppin only had to make one save before being lifted in the 85th minute for Anna Bass, who made no saves in the final five minutes of play.
- The Braves finished with 20 shots on the day, with 10 being on goal.
