Ruben Laureano scored his first goal of the season on Wednesday, but the Southern Wesleyan offense was too much for the Tornado defense to handle, as they fell 4-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Warriors dominated time of possession early, recording two shots in the first six minutes, with neither finding their way to Tornado goalkeeper Dalton Gammon
- The Tornado got the first shot on goal of the match in the 11th minute when Laureano took a shot that was saved by the Warriors keeper.
- Laureano took another shot on goal a few minutes later, again forcing the keeper to make a save.
- SWU got on the board in the 24th minute on a Hykeen Martin goal off a free kick from just outside the box.
- It didn't take long for the Tornado to tie things up, as Josh Clements and Ben Delisle set Laureano up for his first goal of the season in the 30th minute.
- The match was tied at halftime, but in the second half it was all SWU, as they scored three goals, including two in the final 10 minutes to take the 4-1 win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Laureano's goal was the first King goal since Sept. 14 when they scored three in a win over Emory & Henry.Â
- It was Laureano's fourth career goal. The last time he found the back of the net was March 26, 2021 in a 12-1 win over Southern Wesleyan.
- Gammon played the full 90 minutes, making three saves

- Feren Nunez led the way for the Warriors, recording three shots on goal and a goal in the 80th minute.
- Will Hughes made three saves in net to earn his first win of the season
