SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Tornado gave up a pair of second-half goals Tuesday night, as they fell to Converse 2-0 in Conference Carolinas action.
Dalton Gammon finished with seven saves for King, while
Ben Delisle had four shots.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Valkyries were on the attack early, recording five shots on goal in the first 11 minutes, with Dalton Gammon making five saves, with one credited to the Tornado defense as a whole.
- After a series of blocked shots, Converse got another shot in goal in the 22nd minute, which was again saved by Gammon, who would end up making five saves in the half.
- Coming out of the intermission, Converse continued to attack the net, scoring their first goal of the night in the 65th minute before scoring about 30 seconds later to take a 2-0 lead.
- King was unable to generate much offense, with just two shots in the final 20 minutes of the match.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Gammon finished with seven saves off 10 shots on goal.
- Samuel Corredor Rincon had the lone shot on goal for King, coming in the 51st minute.
FOR THE FOES
- Hayden Gensler and Fabio Pasini had the goals for the Tornado, with Jaxon Keene adding an assist on Pasini's goal.
- David Windmiller only had to make one save on the night.
