WILSON, N.C. – It was a tough Sunday afternoon for the Tornado, as they fell to Barton 2-0 on a sunny day at the Bulldogs Athletic Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tornado opened things with a shot on goal in the second minute, courtesy of Josh Clements, but it was saved by the Barton keeper.
- The Bulldogs received a corner kick in the eighth minute, and eventually took a shot of their own, which sailed wide of the net.
- Barton got on the board in the 31st minute, when Eve Lusa-Arias took a rebound and put it in the back of the net.
- They didn't wait long to score their second goal, as one minute later the Bulldogs converted a penalty kick to take a 2-0 lead, which they would hold going into the halftime break.
- Barton added a third goal in the 79th minute, as they converted their second penalty kick of the match to take the 3-0 lead that they would hold onto.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Tornado had four shots on goal, led by two from Ben Delisle.
- Jack Hyatt played the full 90 minutes in net, making a season-high six saves. This is just the second game he has played in, after playing 45 minutes in a 3-0 win over Emory & Henry.
FOR THE FOES
- The Bulldogs had nine shots on goal, with three players recording two.
- Jacob Randolph made four saves for Barton.
- This was the fifth time this season that Barton recorded a shutout, and the third straight.
