BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's soccer team squared off against rival Lees-McRae College on Wednesday afternoon at Parks Field. The first half was tight as the Tornado trailed 1-0 at the break. However, three Bobcat goals in a 12-minute span was too much for the Tornado to overcome as King fell 4-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- King had a pair of shots in the opening 10 minutes, but both were turned away by the Bobcat defense.
- Lees-McRae was awarded a penalty kick in the 15th minute and Zach Aversano converted for fourth time this season, giving the Bobcats the 1-0 lead.
- The Tornado then controlled play for the remainder of the half as Mate Lengyel had a pair of shots on target that were turned away.
- Dalton Gammon came up with a diving save in the 37th minute, to keep the King deficit at 1-0 at halftime.
- The Bobcats turned the field in the second half, taking five shots in the opening 10 minutes before Daniel Garvilla broke through in the 58th minute on an assist to Johannes Oeksnevad, doubling the lead.
- Oeksnevad then struck twice in the 70th minute, extending the Lees-McRae lead to 4-0.
- King had a couple shots and corner kick over the final 15 minutes, but that was it as Lees-McRae took the game 4-0.

- Gammon made one save for the Tornado and Collin Parsons made a pair of saves.
