BRISTOL, Tenn. -- The Tornado played their first home match of the season Saturday, and dominated the visiting Emory and Henry Wasps. King didn't lose a single match on the day, and only lost three sets.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tornado dominated in doubles play, as all three of their pairing won in straight sets, led by Alex Sodre and Mat Vieira, who picked up a 6-1 win at no. 1 doubles.
- Not to be outdone, Rhys Halcrow and Pedro Laydner also picked up a 6-1 win at no. 2 doubles, while Mason Hunt and Kyle Robinson won their match 6-4 to clinch the doubles point.
- In singles play, Sodre and Halcrow both won their matchups in straight sets, with Sodre winning 6-1, 6-0 and Halcrow earning a 6-3, 6-1 victory.
- No. 3 singles went to three sets, but Laydner pulled out a win, going 6-3, 3-6, 6-2.
- Mat Verira won in straight sets at no. 4 singles by matching 6-3 scores.
- No. 5 and no. 6 singles both went three sets, with Emory and Henry winning the first set before King won sets two and three. Hunt won via super tiebreaker at no. 6, winning 10-3 to complete the King sweep.
UP NEXT
- The Tornado are now done for the fall, and will pick up action on Feb. 5 when they travel to face Lee.
- The Wasps have one match left this fall, as they will host Ohio Christian Monday afternoon.
