BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with North Greenville University on Saturday afternoon at Parks Field.
Ben Delisle netted a first half goal to even the score as neither team scored in the second half or either overtime session.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tornado had the first two scoring chances in the opening five minutes, but both were off target from Marcell Szekeres and Zubair Taylor.
- North Greenville countered with a pair of shots on target in the seventh minute, but Dalton Gammon came up with saves on each occasion.
- Gammon added another save in the 15th minute, but the Crusaders found the back of the net with their next opportunity in the 22nd minute.
- Gareth Green found the back of the net, putting North Greenville ahead.
- It didn't take long for the Tornado to tally the equalizer as Ben Delisle found Mate Lengyel in the 34th minute.
- Lengyel buried his shot, knotting the score at 1-1.
- Gammon came up with another save to keep the game tied at the half.
- Samuel Corredor Rincon threatened to put the Tornado ahead in the 49th minute, but his shot was turned away by North Greenville goalkeeper Reno Van der Meer.
- Gammon came up with two more saves for the Tornado in the 65th and 66th minutes to keep the Crusaders off the board.
- King had two more chances, but shots from Ruben Laureano and Lengyel were both turned away as the contest headed to overtime.
- Riley Moore took a shot for the Tornado in the 94th minute, but it was on target.
- The best scoring chance of the first extra session came from the foot of North Greenville's Christopher Holscher, but Gammon came up with the same as time expired.
- The King defense came up big, stopping a shot from Jorge Henao-Chica in the 104th minute.
- The was the best scoring chance of the second overtime as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- King placed four of their 13 shots on frame and earned six corner kicks.
- The goal for Lengyel was his third of the season.
- Gammon made nine saves in goal for the Tornado.
FOR THE FOES
- North Greenville placed 11 of their 20 shots on frame and earned nine corner kicks.
- Van der Meer made three saves.
