Tornado take top 10 at Lake Hartwell

LAKE HARTWELL, Sc. – The King University bass fishing team performed well at the FLW College Southeastern Division event this weekend on Lake Hartwell. Dillon Bryant and Jacob Lovell bagged a limit weighing 10 pounds and 12 ounces finishing 23rd  of 119 teams. A host of other strong finishes from the Tornado resulted in a team finish of ninth out of 60.

The pairs of Landon Lawson and Donavan Carson and Nicholas Gilbert and Hunter McClaskey both caught their limit landing around six pounds apiece and helped propel the Tornado to such a strong team finish. Oakley Powers and Logan Dillow were not far behind though as they bring four fish to the weigh in with just under six pounds.

"Not bad for our first year, but we plan to make a run for that title this spring. Very proud of these guys and how they represent themselves, our program, and the university," said head coach oach Jason Moorman.
