Eufaula, Ala. – King University Bass Fishing represented the Tornado on the national stage Friday as Caleb Dugger and Easton Honaker took to Lake Eufaula for tournament action out of Lakepoint State Park. The duo recorded one fish weighing 1.12 pounds, placing them 187th in a large and competitive field.
The event launched from Lakepoint State Park at 7:00 a.m. CT, with weigh-ins held at 3:00 p.m. CT. Anglers faced challenging conditions on one of Alabama's most storied fisheries, where shifting spring patterns and heavy pressure made consistency difficult across the board. Dugger and Honaker managed to secure a fish on the scales, giving King a presence in the standings.
The tournament was hosted by the Eufaula Barbour County Chamber of Commerce, with all operations centralized at Lakepoint State Park. Registration took place early Friday morning from 5:00–6:30 a.m. CT before anglers launched for competition.
King Bass Fishing continues to gain valuable experience on the collegiate circuit, competing against a deep national field and representing the university with pride on Lake Eufaula.
