FRANLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The King University women's tennis team faced Emmanuel College on Saturday afternoon. King fell behind early as the Lions took the dual 9-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lions started the afternoon by taking all three doubles matches. Catherine Vezey and Ashley Salazar at the second flight fell to Katherina Kiderien and Maria Raich in a close match 8-5.
- At No. 1 singles, Marianne Hull fell to Fantine Botella 6-3, 6-1.
- At the final match in the No. 6 singles, Abi Muesse topped Haley Maloney 8-4.
UP NEXT
- King will be in action again on Friday when they host Belmont Abbey College on Friday. The Conference Carolinas dual is slated for 1:00 p.m.
- Emmanuel takes on Lander University on Thursday.
