  • Limestone took a 15-12 lead early in the second quarter before the King offense started clicking.
  • Cupples knocked down a pair of triples to put King ahead, and following a Danielle Luczak layup, Whitney Mitchell drilled a trifecta that put King ahead 26-15.
  • Mitchell capped the 14-0 run with an old fashioned three-point play, giving King a 29-15 advantage with three minutes remaining until halftime.

  • However, the Saints then went on a run, scoring 17 of the next 19 points, including 10 straight to even the contest at 38 with four minutes remaining in the third quarter.
  • On the possession after the Saints evened the tally, Sheen Jonson connected on a triple, giving the momentum back to the Tornado.
