HAMPTON, Va. – The King University men's wrestling team opened the Virginia Duals with an emphatic victory of the University of Central Florida. The Tornado topped Central Florida 35-13 to advance to Saturday's semifinals.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Reed Jacks got King on the board with a come-from-behind win at 125 pounds. Jacks trailed Eddison Garcia 1-0 until the final period when he evened the score at one and then took the 3-1 win in the final minute.
- Central Florida bounced back with win by fall at 133 pounds to take a 6-3 advantage.
- However, Bryce Killian put the Tornado back ahead with an emphatic 16-0 technical fall victory over Matt Seymour, giving King an 8-6 lead.
- A win by forfeit at 149 pounds stretched the Tornado lead before Cory Collins earned a 16-3 major decision at 157 pounds to put King ahead 18-6.
- Central Florida earned a win by decision at 165 pounds, but Joey Mammolenti came back with a 16-0 technical fall at 174 pounds.
- The King lead grew to 35-9 following a pair of forfeits at 184 and 197 pounds before Central Florida won the final match, making the final score 35-13 in favor of the Tornado.
