Chang leads Tornado in opening round of Flagler Fall Slam

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The King University women's golf team started their final tournament of the fall, the Flagler Fall Slam with a score of 324. King sits in 12th place and were led by Daphne Chang who is in 26th with one round remaining.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Chang led the Tornado, carding a 78 in the opening round.
  • Nicola Robertson was next, shooting 80 while Fiona Hebbel shot 82 in the opening round.
  • Not far behind was Samantha Taylor who shot 84 and Emilie Olstad rounded out the team with a score of 85.

FOR THE FOES

  • Host Flagler College and Barry University lead the event, shooting 301 in the opening round.
  • Seminole State College is in third with a score of 303 while Limestone College and Wingate University are tied for fourth with a score of 310.
  • Tusculum Colleges' Ciara Rattana leads the individuals after shooting an opening round of -2, 70.

UP NEXT

  • The tournament concludes on Tuesday with the second round at the Marsh Creek Country Club.
