Lady Tornado picks up 3-1 win across state line at Va. Intermont

BRISTOL, Va. - King College made it 20 straight wins over Virginia Intermont College Friday in women's volleyball action thanks to a 3-1 victory over the foe across the state line.

King improved to 26-8 on the season with the win over the cross-town rival. Virginia Intermont went to 12-19.

The earlier meeting with Virginia Intermont had a similar 3-1 score for King on Sept. 23 inside the Student Center.

The Lady Tornado squad closes out the regular season Tuesday when the team goes to Brevard (N.C.) College for a 6:30 p.m. contest.
