PEMBROKE, N.C. -- The King University men's wrestling team won five bouts on Wednesday night, but narrowly fell at UNC Pembroke, 21-19.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the Braves won at 125 pounds, Alex Fernandez III and Ashtan Hendricks picked up consecutive wins, with Hendricks winning via second period pin to put the Tornado ahead 9-3.
- Brennan Watkins had another win for King, earning a 9-2 decision at 157 pounds before Clint Morrisette and Ethan Lopez both had wins.
- Morrisette won his match 15-4 over Logan Hoffman, while Lopez earned a close 12-10 decision at 184 pounds.
- UNC Pembroke rallied, taking the final two bouts to win the dual 21-19.
