Tornado Closes Regular Season at the Royals Challenge

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The King University men's cross country team competed at the Royals Challenge hosted by Queens University, where they finished 17th in a field of 20 teams.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Ermay Vazquez Adame led the Tornado completing the 5k in 19:06 and finished 70th. This improves her personal best by 1:02.
• Emily Ward finished at 19:30 for 93rd place.
• Mandy Lowery  finished at 21:30 (152nd), Faith Carter had a time of 22:02 (161st) and Abigail Brammer closed the King effort at 24:19 (171st)

The King University women's cross country team will compete in the Conference Carolinas Championships on Saturday October 26. They will be running at the Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, S.C.
