HOW IT HAPPENED – UNC Pembroke
- The Braves won the first two bouts of the night, including a pin at 125 pounds to take an early 9-0 lead.
- Kolikas got the Tornado on the board at 141 pounds with a pin of Cody Williams in 1:30 to make the score 9-6.
- After a pair of decisions went to UNC Pembroke, Perkins and Galang won back-to-back decisions, bringing the Tornado to within 15-9.
- UNC Pembroke would pick up wins at 184 and 197 pounds before Telles won a narrow 3-2 decision at 285 pounds to make the final score 24-15 in favor of UNC Pembroke.
HOW IT HAPPENED – Lincoln Memorial
- The Railsplitters took the first bout of the night, a 11-10 decision at 125 pounds.
- King picked up their first win at 133 pounds, where Franky Medina won via tech fall, 19-4 which was followed by Kilikas pinning yet another opponent, this time in 1:45 to hand King a 11-3 lead.
- Demetri Teddlie picked up a win via tech fall at 149 pounds before Trent Mahoney won via forfeit, stretching the lead to 22-3.
- Perkins got in on the act of securing bonus points with a 15-0 tech fall at 165 pounds, while Galang won a major decision, 17-3 to make the score 31-3.
- After Cling Morrisette won via forfeit and LMU won a pin at 197 pounds, Telles needed just 2:03 to close the dual with a win via pin, winning the dual 43-9.
