EMORY, Va. -- The King University men's wrestling team picked up their first South Atlantic Conference Carolinas win of the season in convincing fashion Wednesday night, beating Emory & Henry 47-6, with the Tornado winning nine of the 10 bouts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tyson Upchurch started the dual with a 26-10 tech fall win over Orlando Hernandez to give King an early lead.
- After Nico Crosnoe claimed a win via forfeit, the Wasps picked up their lone win of the night at 141 pounds.
- Brennan Watkins and Trent Mahoney recorded back-to-back pins at 149 and 157 pounds, with Watkins winning in just 1:03.
- After the Tornado picked up a pair of forfeit wins, Dallin Ewart started his match hot, recording a takedown in the first five seconds en route to a win via first period pin.
- Jacob Ebner and Jacob Telles both rounded out the dual with wins via decision, with Ebner winning 6-2 and Telles winning 5-2 at 285 pounds.
