LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The King University men's wrestling team suffered their first dual losses of the season Thursday, going 0-3 at the NWCA Multi-Division National Duals.

HOW IT HAPPENED - #2 St. Cloud State
- Frankie Medina nearly picked up a win over Daniel Valeria at 133 pounds, but ultimately dropped a 7-6 decision.
- At 149 pounds, Austin Kolikas held tough, but was unable to pull out a win, falling via 9-4 decision.
HOW IT HAPPENED – UNC Pembroke
- Medina got the Tornado on the board, recording a takedown in the final 10 seconds to beat Anthony Carter 7-5 to make the score 5-3 Braves.
- After a series of wins, the Tornado picked up six points at 174 pounds where Dalton Pearl claimed a win via forfeit, making it 21-9 Braves.
- UNCP would go on to win the final three matches, two of which were bonus point wins to claim a 34-9 win.
HOW IT HAPPENED – Tiffin
- The Tornado took an early 6-0 lead after the Dragons forfeited at 125 pounds.
- After a pair of wins for Tiffin, Austin Kolikas picked up a win via fall at 149 pounds to put King back in the lead, 12-8.
- Vincent Galang also picked up a win, earning a 10-2 major decision victory at 165 pounds to once again put King in the lead, this time 16-14.
- Tiffin would win the final four bouts to escape with a 35-16 win.

- The Tornado will return to South Atlantic Conference Carolinas action on Jan. 12 when they host Belmont Abbey and Limestone. First whistle against the Crusaders is set for 6:00 p.m. Inside the Student Center Complex.
