Sharp joined the King University men's soccer coaching staff prior to the 2021 season as a graduate assistant coach while pursuing a Master of Education degree at King University.

In his first season with the Tornado, Sharp helped guide the program through the 2021 campaign. King earned early-season shutout victories over Concord and Emory & Henry and saw seven student-athletes earn Academic All-Conference Carolinas honors. Throughout the season, Sharp assisted with training sessions, player development, and the day-to-day operations of the program.

Prior to arriving at King, Sharp competed collegiately at Bethel University (Tenn.), where he earned a bachelor's degree in Physical Education in 2020. During his time as a student-athlete, he developed a strong foundation in coaching, athlete development, and sports performance.

Before attending Bethel, Sharp studied at Pratt Community College in Kansas through a FuturePro USA scholarship program. While there, he gained experience in multiple areas of coaching and athlete care, including nutrition, first aid, and personal health. His educational experiences helped shape a well-rounded approach to coaching and player development.

In addition to his collegiate playing experience, Sharp has coached at the youth level, serving as head coach of the Eltham Town Under-12 football team. He also earned Football Association (FA) Level 1 certifications in both goalkeeping and outfield coaching, further expanding his technical and developmental coaching expertise.

Sharp brings a diverse coaching and playing background to the Tornado program, combining international coaching experience, player development knowledge, and a passion for helping student-athletes succeed both on and off the field.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Bethel University (Tenn.) in 2020 and began pursuing a Master of Education degree at King University upon joining the coaching staff.
