Joseph A. Elliott was named Graduate Assistant for King University Men’s Soccer in 2026, bringing a unique blend of collegiate playing experience, leadership, and business acumen to the Tornado coaching staff. Elliott’s comprehensive background in both competitive soccer and professional environments makes him a valuable asset to the program as it continues to build on its tradition of excellence.
In his role at King, Elliott assists with all facets of the men’s soccer program, including supporting on-field training, mentoring student-athletes, and contributing to recruiting operations. He leverages his extensive experience as a collegiate team captain and national champion to foster a team-first culture, motivate players, and facilitate effective communication among athletes from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, Elliott applies his marketing and organizational skills to program promotion, logistical planning, and coordination of camps and community engagement initiatives.
Elliott’s soccer background is highlighted by his tenure as captain of the King University varsity soccer team, where he led and inspired teammates from around the world, and by his role at Bryant & Stratton College in Rochester, New York. There, he captained the varsity team to a national championship in 2023, demonstrating both on-field excellence and strong leadership. He has also served as a coach for the Lionsbridge FC summer camp in Newport News, Virginia, where he planned dynamic sessions and adapted his communication style for young athletes and their parents, ensuring a positive learning environment for all.
Off the field, Elliott brings valuable business experience from his time as an investor relations intern with REILY Capital in Casper, Wyoming, as well as from roles in customer service and logistics. His ability to analyze problems, plan effectively, and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders translates seamlessly to his responsibilities as a graduate assistant.
A native of England, Elliott graduated magna cum laude from King University in 2026 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business (Marketing Track). He previously earned his Associate’s degree in Business with Applied Science from Bryant & Stratton College, where he was Valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA. Elliott’s blend of soccer acumen, leadership, and professional skills position him as a key contributor to King University Men’s Soccer.
