Gracie Figueroa joined the Tornado staff in Sept. 2024 as an assistant coach.
Figueroa, a native of Selma, Calif., brings a wealth of experience in women’s wrestling. In addition to being the first-ever female WHO’s #1 champion, she was a four-time undefeated California State Champion, and was a five-time Fargo National Champion. She has been a member of the World Team five times, and won a bronze medal at the 2016 Cadet World Championships at 56 kilograms. Figueroa attended Menlo College, where she won a collegiate national championship at 116 pounds.
After graduating from Menlo College, Figueroa went on to coach at Fresno City College and Selma HS.
