Women's Year-by-Year Recaps

2020-21: In what was an unusual year as the Covid-19 pandemic moved the women's season into the spring of 2021, the Tornado turned in a tremendous season. The Tornado went 17-2, winning their final 14 matches en route to their first Conference Carolinas Tournament championship. King went 10-0 at home for the second straight year, running their home winning streak to 21 matches. In the conference championship match in the Student Center Complex, King trailed top seed North Greenville University 2-0, but came back to take the 3-2 victory. Brittney Ramsey was selected Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Year and second team all-conference. Julie Ward garnered first team all-conference honors while Kayley Holtzclaw earned second team recognition and Georgia Davis took home third team honors.

2019: Duda helped the Tornado capture the Conference Carolinas West Division title and finish runner-up in the Conference Carolinas Tournament. Five players garnered all-conference honors. The Tornado led the league in attack percentage at .192 and blocks per set at 2.27.

Men Year-By-Year Season Recaps

2021: The Tornado finished fifth in the Conference Carolinas standings, going 7-7 in league play. King posted an overall record of 12-13 and advanced to the Conference Carolinas semifinals where they fell to top seed Mount Olive. Joshua Kim and Noah Melendez each earned first team all-conference honors while Mason McCrury took home the Conference Carolinas Elite 23 award for the second straight season.

2020: The 2020 season was canceled on March 12 due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. The Tornado were 9-9 at that point of the season, facing one of the toughest schedules in the country. In their first six matches, King squared off against four top-15 teams, including a match in the Student Center Complex against top-ranked University of Hawai'i.
