Everhart was a student-athlete at King, having been a member of the men’s golf team for four years. He was named Academic All-Conference Carolinas in 2021-22 and carded a career low 73 in the first round of the Bearcat Classic, where he was an injury replacement on the first morning of the tournament.

"We are very excited to have Daniel be a part of the golf program this year,” head golf coach Brian Kamm commented. “He played golf for me for four years and should bring a wealth of knowledge to help our program move forward and compete for championships."
