Knight joined the Tornado staff in October of 2021 and helped the Tornado to a sixth place finish in Conference Carolinas.

Year-By-Year Season Recaps

2021-22: Following a season-opening defeat, the Tornado ran off four straight wins. However, King couldn't regain that consistency throughout the year, finishing the regular season with a 12-10 mark in Conference Carolinas play. The Tornado earned the sixth seed in the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Championship and hosted Francis Marion in the second round of the tournament. The Tornado made a valiant comeback, but ultimately fell to the eventual tournament runner-up 87-84. Trinity Lee was selected first team All-Conference Carolinas and earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors.

Prior to King

A 2020 graduate of the University of Alabama, Knight was hired as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach in October 2021. She was a four-year member of the women's basketball team at Alabama, and racked up numerous awards, including being named to the 2017 SEC All-Freshmen Team. She was twice named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll, and holds the school record for career blocks.
