Hannah Smith '16

Smith joined the Tornado staff on a full-time basis in the summer of 2018, following two years as a part-time coach for the softball program.

Over the 2017 and 2018 seasons, Smith helped the coaching staff in many different areas. In 2018, she helped King win their second Conference Carolinas Tournament, earning their second NCAA Tournament berth. The Tornado set the school record with 36 wins and won their first-ever NCAA Tournament contests, finishing as the NCAA Southeast Regional runner-up.

In her career at King, Smith was a .328 hitter and had a slugging percentage of .512, both marks that rank fourth on the King all-time list. She is the all-time leader with 206 games played and games started. She also is atop the all-time list in at bats and runs batted in with 649 and 143, respectively. She ranks second with 213 career hits and 25 home runs.

Smith graduated from King with her bachelor's degree in 2016 and MBA in 2018.
