Josh Hall was hired in October 2021 as an Assistant Track and Field Coach. Hall joins the Tornado staff after a stint as a graduate assistant coach at Western Carolina University, where he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sports Management. While at Western Carolina, Hall helped coach all-around events in distance, jumps, throws, vault and sprints.

Hall is a 2020 graduate of Lees-McRae College where he ran cross country and track & field. During his senior year, he helped the Bobcats indoor distance medley relay team set a program record with a time of 10:50.67. He was also named to the academic all-conference team following the 2019-20 season. He also served as a SAAC representative while also volunteering as a high school coach while at Lees-McRae.
