2016: Appeared in 11 games, making six starts and tossing one complete game...Ended the season with 34 innings pitched...Earned his lone win, tossing a complete game against Charleston (W.Va.) in a game that was suspended on February 20 and finished on March 7...Tossed all nine innings in the contest, allowing three runs, one earned on five hits while striking out 10...The 10 strikeouts marked a career-high.

Prior to King: In high school he recorded a 3.66 ERA...He helped lead St. Charles North High School to a conference championship in 2012...At Waudonsee Community College he helped lead his team to ranking fourth in the nation at the DIII NJSCAA World Series...Was a fall all-star selection in 2014...Freshman year he recorded a 5.41 ERA...Posted a 3.89 ERA as a sophomore.
