Nicole Seybold

Nicole Seybold

Seybold joined the Tornado staff in the fall of 2016 following a stellar career competing in acrobatics and tumbling at the University of Oregon. She will be an assistant coach for both the acrobatics and tumbling team and the cheerleading team.

Coming from Oregon, Seybold has a plethora of experience in both cheerleading and acrobatics and tumbling. She cheered in high school before taking up acrobatics and tumbling when she went to Oregon. She helped the Ducks to back-to-back National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Association (NCATA) national championships and a pair of national runner-up finishes.

During her senior season, Seybold helped the Ducks to an 11-3 record and to their sixth straight NCATA National Championships appearance. Her freshman year, she helped win four event national championships as well as the team national title. The next year she helped the Ducks repeat as team national champions and win the event national championship in pyramid heat three.

Prior to Oregon, Seybold started competitive cheer when she was in the fourth grade, and helped the Brandon All-Stars team win The Cheerleading Worlds in 2011. Over the last five years she has worked for the National Cheerleaders Association, traveling and teaching cheerleading at the collegiate and high school levels.
