- King had an eventful week last week with three road matches.
- In their match at Barton College on Friday, the Bulldogs and Tornado played what is believed to be the longest set in school history at 38-36.
- King then outlasted Conference Carolinas-leading University of Mount Olive 3-2 on Saturday.
- In the match, King set an NCAA National Collegiate record with 77 digs in the match.
- Joshua Kim set the school record with 36 kills in the win over Mount Olive.
- He was also selected Conference Carolinas Player of the Week and Off the Block National Outside Attacker of the Week.
- JT Deppe also set a school record with 65 asissts in the win and he was selected Conference Carolinas Specialist of the Week.
- Noah Melendez set a career-high with 20 digs on Friday night and broke that with 23 digs on Saturday. The 23 digs for Melendez matched a school record.
- Melendez was selected Off the Block National Libero of the Week.

GAME NOTES
- Queens most recently defeated Lees-McRae 3-0 on Tuesday night.
- The Royals had won three straight matches before falling at North Greenville University on Saturday.
- Tristan Santoyo leads the Royal offense with an average of 2.98 kills per set while Nic Cavallaro hits .277 with an average of 2.70 kills per set.
- Setters Brandon Grabo and Daniel Leitao have run the offense well, averaging 8.98 and 6.35 assists per set, respectively.
- On the defensive end, Josh Bragg has anchored the back row with an average of 1.73 digs per set.
- At the net, Cody Nix averages 1.20 blocks per set to lead Queens.
