GAME NOTES

  • King is coming off a win at Belmont Abbey College last weekend.
  • The Tornado return home for the first since early March when they swept Conference Carolinas foe Chowan University.
  • Drew Moore has been a force within the Tornado pitching staff. The junior southpaw has gone 4-0 in his last four starts with an ERA of just 1.32.
  • Austin Meyer paces King's offense with a batting average of .394 on the year. He has recorded 28 hits and drove in 15 runs.
  • King used a three-run sixth inning of the final game of the series against Belmont Abbey to leave the Tar Heel state with a win.
  • Junior Renwick leads the Tornado with 19 runs and is second on the team in hits with 23. 
  • Connor Andrews is not far off Meyer, hitting .377 on the year as the combination player of catcher and designated hitter.

  • Livan Reinoso has been the power of the Flying Fleet. He has 52 hits, 11 of those being home runs while he also has driven home 34 runs.
