King University

King opened the season with a thrilling victory at Belmont Abbey College on January 9.
Elijah Hicks and Rylee Billings started the match wtih a pair of victories before the Tornado opened up a 15-3 lead following a pin from Trent Mahoney and victory from Dallas Boone.
The Tornado trailed going into the final bout and Cade Ridley came up with a pin, evening the score at 21.
King took the bonus point and the win based on pins in the. King had two pins to Belmont Abbey's one.

UNC Pembroke has won their first two duals of the season, defeating Belmont Abbey 26-16 and Emmanuel 41-4.
The Braves enter today's competition ranked 20th in the latest NWCA poll.
